A courtyard farmhouse with history
A genuine courtyard farmhouse in the Traunviertel, farmed for three generations and first recorded in 1325. Fields all around, with our own woodland just a few minutes' walk away, where there's sun, quiet and a view of the mountains.
The history is in the details: the former maize silos have become a sun deck with a view. The charming, historic vaulted cellar, around 130 years old, once stored cider, fruit and vegetables. Plenty of reclaimed wood went into the newly built apartments, so the press house lives on.
Katrin & Andreas
Since 2012 we, Katrin and Andreas, have run Grafhaidergut, living here with our three children and our animals. With us you're not in a hotel; you're right in the heart of farm life.
It matters to us that you feel at home here: a warm welcome, honest tips for the region and a friendly ear whenever you need one. With us you're not just guests; in some small way you're part of life on the farm.

Our furry hosts
The farm is home to our Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Cuna, a loyal and patient playmate for the children, along with our three cats, Wuschi, Minki and Mitzi, who often drop by on the apartment terraces. Getting close to the animals is simply part of a farm holiday with us.
Anyone who comes with children knows: the best part of the trip is often waiting right on the doorstep.
Nestled in Kremstal
Surrounded by our own fields, tucked away in a quiet spot with a view of the mountains. Right in the centre of Upper Austria, easy to reach yet far from everyday life.
